Electrostatic Charge
Electrostatic discharge is a spark or breakdown resulting from large difference of potential, that causes a short and high voltage pulse on an electrical device.
- A fast discharge can never be avoided entirely. However it can be taken care of, that a fast discharge does not occur and that existing electrostatic charge can be drained off slowly e.g. through a high electric resistance.
